Cybersecurity is not only a technical issue, and needs a big picture view. We can't afford to have our hospitals, schools, and businesses at risk. From all the work you and your team put into your business - you can't afford to have it at risk from strangers or a state-sponsored attacker we have not yet adapted to fight. From our bank accounts to our critical infrastructure, cybersecurity is an open and major risk we must address. Technical solutions are needed, but we need to change things beyond technology.
Cyberspace operates according to different rules than the physical world, and requires new thinking on legal, political, and jurisdiction perspectives that need to be updated to fix the problem.To protect your business, you have to change your thinking and learn how to guard yourself against the cybercrime. There are no boundaries on the internet, so our policies need to adapt accordingly. In order for us to succeed - our government must learn to adapt to a world with no borders.
